Fell On Ice Today

There was a time when if I fell in public I would quickly jump back on my feet hoping no one noticed my fall. Now before trying to get back on my feet I check to see if I am hurt, I have this deep fear of breaking a hip. Can not remember the last time I didn't need to use bathroom in middle of the night. Why is print getting smaller and smaller. What are your middle age body changes ?

So, are you O.K. ? I hate falling in public. It has been a long time since I could hop up and act like all is well. Hopefully you only bruised your ego.

Bummer hope you are not too sore. Middle age, lucky you, heck I'm way past that. Am I venturing outside right now, you betcha NOT. Walking on the uneven icy mess we have right now is not only dangerous to me but even the more sure footed.
We ventured out Friday night to have dinner at one of the local restaurants. It would have been a pitiful sight if anyone saw me trying to make it from the house to our truck. Thankfully I made it without any disasters but I almost the floor once we arrived home again and I was safely back in the house. Age does bring on the baggage but you just have to learn to live with it and keep on trucking, she who is wistfully thinking of spring.

Pain...a lot of pain. Eyesight is going. Lack of stamina. An extreme love of staying home. Kidneys are packing it in. Spotty memory.

Yikes! I hate that falling nonsense! Glad you're okay.

Back in November when the ground froze hard and there wasn't any snow cover, I tripped in Lukes corral and came down hard on my hip.
Just got a big bruise to add to my collection. At least I know where that one came from.
