So it is actually Micraplasma.

Anyways I've been forgetting to update. County Fair is a week away and the birds really need to eat.

Okay. So I meant to post this earlier, but the show chickens have had their first show in September. They did okay. Saturday will be the fourth show I've brought then to. One has adopted a couple babies of two others.

As for meat chickens, they were just under six pounds each at time of weigh-in. In general they would have been better if they were bigger. At auction we went last and the birds sold for $375. I wish my mom's phone would have had battery to take a picture of me saying goodbye. That actually turned out to be a couple goodbyes, but they were all hard. It was just me feeling bad that they would be dieing in only a matter of hours.
And as for meat birds this year, I ordered them from Purely Poultry last week. They are due to come the week of memorial day.

So yeah, that's what has and is happening.

For the birds that aren't sold, they become a deciduous dinner...

Got chickens bathed last night. Went much later then I'd hoped.
