Yes, expect a full review first time you have to replace the batteries.

partial review:
It is still lighting up a HUGE, bright area. I still carry the flashlight when I have to go to the coop or barn after dark, but rarely turn it on. Just as I get out of the back porch's light, I step into the area that triggers this little light. It lights up from half way between the house and the coop to halfway to the barn and is still nice and bright at the coop door and feeder. Which means that if I'm late getting home and half to dump a bag of feed, I don't have to juggle the flashlight to do it.
It's mounted about 8' up on a pine tree.
I have a motion sensor flood light on the side of the barn and have noticed that the 'improved, efficient' bulbs in it light VERY dimly when it's cold and have to warm up to give off much light. This little thing is just as bright at 15* as it is at 60*.
If I get though the summer without having to replace batteries I will call this little thing a success and start placing them in several places around the yard.

Please take some pictures. I bought a solar motion detector light for my DD"s, and we should be mounting it on the dark side of their garage soon. I will Also take pictures to compare costs. I believe that this unit cost $29.00

I tried to get some with the phone - didn't show up. I'll try to get a couple with the 'real' camera (if I can find it...).

Are you milking? Doing anything interesting with the milk?

No :( 'life' got really busy for a couple weeks and I just let Carter do the milking for me. Then I noticed that Eva was starting to loose weight and I didn't want to pull any extra from her reserves. Currently I'm making some feed adjustments to help her meet the energy demands. I started last evening making some changes in the barn so that Carter (aka Prince Butterball) can stay in a stall during the day and only be with her in the afternoon/evening so that she doesn't have to be an 'on demand milk tap' 24/7.
If the feed changes - and the pasture coming in - gets her back up to a good weight, I'll start milking again. I've still got about 2 gallons in the freezer and one thawing in the fridge.. so it's not an 'emergency' yet. ;)

Was always told a good milking cow will lose some weight.

Alrighty! It's been up and working for 6 months. I'm JUST starting to notice a little bit of loss of brightness. It's on A LOT since the dog, cats and chickens set it off several times in the early morning and early evening. If it were in an area where it would get less use - maybe along a sidewalk instead of in the middle of a yard - it would certainly last longer. I figure that I can probably make it well into the winter before having to change the batteries - so maybe 8months on a single set, with lots of use.
I have several different kinds of solar/motion lights around the yard and ALL have stopped being effective within a few months.
I'm thrilled with this little light and have already ordered a 2nd one. At less than $15 each - I plan to get SEVERAL more. Since it's not solar, I plan to put a couple up inside the barn too.

The first couple of weeks the puppies will only drink milk, At about 5 weeks I start with baby food and goats milk, by 7 weeks puppy chow. It all depends on litter size 10 to 12 puppies is very draining on mother. 1 to 3 puppies mother can stay in weight.
