Will spring ever come?

dandelions and violets are about to eight weeks behind my first blooms and some years i've even seen wild bees out that early. one year i even had seeds off my earliest blooming irises. this year i have no idea what's going to happen. crocuses towards the end of April is rather strange.

other daffodils are starting to show up. had to look up difference between common usage of daffodil/narcissus/jonquil because to me they all kinda lump together.

hyacynths and blandas are starting to bloom.

@Carol Dee Here are some flowers for you. In the spring, Crimson Clover lines The roadsides here in east Texas. My husband loves it, so we planted it for him. It is out front along the road and down both sides of the driveway.

@baymule is was thinking the same as @flowerbug and that the bees must love it. YEAH.

They do love it. We love it too and we bought a 50 pound bag of seed. My husband sowed it thick on our poor sand soil. In some places it is thick and beautiful, in others it is skimpy and struggling. But we keep working at it and it is gradually improving.

I just have to share with you pictures of pasture #2. We have raised pigs in it and have worked hard in it to be able to have this lush deep clover and rye grass. Underneath it, is Bermuda and Bahia that we sprigged last fall. I hope it grows like this clover has!

We let the sheep in pasture #2 today!
