Hair In Food

At work I am always getting dog hair in my mouth. I am surprise I don't pass hairballs like cats. I was just eating lunch from local Japanese restaurant when I pulled a long white hair that was in my food out of my mouth I could not finish food threw away. Why do I have no problem with dog hair but gross out over human hair ?

I’m with you. The environments I’ve eaten in would stop sensible people from eating. Human hair in food makes me wonder what other sloppiness restaurant has.

Ditto. Human hair in food indicates poor hygiene by the kitchen crew and/or failure to follow food safety guidelines... which would cause me to question how safe the food was. I would eat no further, and speak to management. Accidents happen, so where I went from there would depend upon the manager's attitude. At the very least, I would demand that management take back the food & cancel my order.

Human hair in food makes it inedible to me. Dog hair I'll just pick off if I can. I do use the cat food suction fit lids on basically everything to keep it down though.

new place you tried or place you order from a lot? usually if i'm trying a new place they get one chance and i wouldn't bother going back, but i may mention it to them so they could improve. if it is a regular place, i would certainly mention it next time i was there or ordering.

guy was busted putting stuff in sausages at a factory, in the news yesterday, he's being charged... good thing. people shouldn't be messing with food. it pisses me off to waste food. when you grow up on the lean side of things it's not something done easily...

One of the good things growing up with a dog, if we didn't like something the dog would always eat it.
