Never Blow Your Horn At Police Car

A little off topic, but since we are talking about blood draws...

During one of my Navy deployments, I was ill, and was sent down to the lab for them to do a blood test. In the Navy, your last name is always stenciled on your shirt; so I noticed who was drawing my blood. The corpsman's name - I'm not making this up - was Draculus! :ep Obviously his Division Officer had a sense of humor, when deciding where to assign him... or so one would hope.

Wait - you pull over the police, then pull out a knife??? Sounds risky...:th:hide
We do so VERY carefully. We found folding knives with a belt clip, seat belt cutter, window knock out, and labeled police. They come in a box. The look on an officers face when they realize someone cares and appreciates them, is purely priceless. We started doing this a couple of years ago and have given out a couple hundred of them. It’s time to reorder.

Thinking of you Baymule. A HUGE gorgeous Class A with texas plates next to us at a Washington state park campground. I thought of going over there, knocking on their door to see where in Texas they are from, but they haven't really come out of the rig in two days.

A few months ago I was out walking with my son one evening when I spotted a Garda (Irish Police) vehicle labeled "traffic dept"… with a not-working right tail light. It pulled over and I decided to let the man know... Of course being me I couldn't resist pointing my finger at him and saying mock-sternly "You're supposed to be setting an example!" His reaction was so funny. As I expected he wasn't aware of the faulty light and in more than a little panic over the situation and being "reprimanded" by a member of the public to boot! I was still laughing by the time we got home.
