So tell me what would you buy a 93 year old
For my 90 yr. Old MIL. We usually get giftcards to her Grocery store or Walmart so she can get what she needs or something she might wat that is not usually in her budget. He like to eat at a certain restaurant. Get him Gift voucher from there. How about a shirt from the kennel so he doesn't have to pinch one from your supply ;) Good Luck

Much of my yard is in shade. Through the summer, every square foot is mowed every 7 days.

At the lowest setting for the mower, it would scrape the ground in several places and likely pull up sod in many locations. I keep it one setting above that height.

The bluegrass grows. Some of the tiniest plants make seed. I obviously pick up some of that seed on my shoes and track it into the garden -- where it sprouts and grows along with other seed from weeds that I track, that blow in, that the birds carry, that sneaks under the fence ... How does one have a garden where weeds are unknown!??

i keep telling Mom that if she'd mow it higher there wouldn't be as many weeds in there... not that it really matters any more anyways as i don't weed it. not since she decided to spray along the edges where the crab grass then comes in and takes over... saves me a lot of hours to ignore it. :)

the wabbies go through and pick on the plantains and some of the dandelions and the clovers...

I wouldn't buy anything. He can already buy anything he needs or wants. What I would gift him is time with him. I would give him a card saying I would spend a day with him doing whatever he wants.

I'm not that old yet. But the best gifts my kids can give me is time with them. I tell them that is what I want so they can know it.
