This was found growing in my friends community garden plot here in southern Ca.. it kinda looks like celery but she said she didn’t think it was.. she did try eating it and it had a green flavor give or take.. thoughts??

Celery might not be a bad guess. The celery I grew looked more like that than the stuff you buy at the store. The way I remember, celery is a biennial, it takes two years to produce. The stuff i grew was pretty strong. I did not try to eat it raw but used it in broth.

the flowers are CA poppies. the green stuff looks like celery/carrot/parsley family type plant.
