LOV Run amok!

The LOV is everywhere. When we bought the house almost 40 years ago, there was a small patch under the LR window. Now it runs full width of the house, and has gone under the sidewalk and into fern bed and irises!

Oh dear!!! I'd be happy if mine would be a fraction of that prolific!!! The little bed is only 3yrs old. Each of the 6 original plants has produced 1 offspring.

agreed... Mom had brought some here from someplace and put them along the north hedge under some honey suckle bushes. they survived and flowered at some point but i have no idea if they are still under there (i'll be working through that area this week so perhaps i'll see them).

i'm hoping not because she was telling me horror stories of how she had to do some work in a garden that had them in there and there was no way she was going to be able to get rid of them without using herbicides and smothering (and not being able to plant anything new in there for a few years). i really don't need any more invasives or projects like trying to control such things.

i found out from the few we had that i have no tolerance for the scent of them. :( as much as i liked it they did not like me...
