Was thinking of NYboy and decided to start a thread like he used to do.....posting a CL link to a ridiculously high priced item he was contemplating buying. I miss him.

No, I'm not buying this, but it just reminded me of him......seems like something he would have liked.

We've been a little short on laughs around here IMO. We're all so grim and business like.

Yes! Every time I see an old truck or high priced item for the garden or patio, I always think, "Wouldn't NY have liked that?" And I want to post a link to it to tease him about it. 😆

That table link you posted... does anyone else find that photo strange? It looks like the table is being held up by the wall it's resting against, and over some sort of bare flowerbed.

yes, but isn't this the exact sort of thing he'd have liked!

and not that i'm a critic, but in noting the NY boy had the habit of posting the entire ad along with pictures, sometimes even twice and perhaps rotated... i'm not sure i'm up for that level of dedication... but it always made me laugh and shake my head.

i wonder how his family is doing.

I'm late to this discussion, but I, too, find that photo strange. Looking at the other 8 photos doesn't help my sense of weird perspective.
