Isn't just the most wonderful feeling when you learn something new.

While researching various honey today, I came across this article. So I thought during these times of us all worrying about covid. Why don't we look up ways to help build up a resistance to all these pandemics.

DW puts honey in a cup,

. squeezes half a lime over it,

. pours some boiling water in the cup. And, gives it to me - if'n I'm coughing very much. Seems to work pretty good. She will also chop and beat up some ginger, as a replacement for the lime. Broad leaf thyme seems to work best as a tea for the cough - but, the house plants don't appreciate very much snipping.

Close to our centuries old family recipe, Steve .... it calls for the honey, juice from half lemon , boiling hot tea, add a generous jigger of Vodka or whiskey ( or 2 to disinfect the throught ) .

FYI @bobm your quoting style/editing is breaking how your posts appear. if you click on the Toggle BB code glyph you will perhaps see what i mean. :) you are including your comments in the quote you are making, so it doesn't appear correctly.

:idunnoSometimes after I type in a quote or response, it somehow dissapears as I eater try correct a spelling error or even right after I press the enter button. So, eather often it double posts, or it totally dissapeers and I have to retype my post . Whatever happens as a result is what you see. Possibly Chrome clashing with whatever management is using ? :caf

Dandelion honey! LOL I had lots of them growing in my garden at our old house, I made jelly, syrup and wine. It was fun.
