Not doing much this year with all the move crazyness. My blueberry is doing well and has a full crop rippening. I plan on buying stawberry tower and planting it out. Also some peppers in the pot that had the orange tree.

In other news, we may be buying land soon. We've been looking at homesteading OR buying investement property like a duplex. The house prices are SOO crazy! For $215k I can get a duplex with 800sqft 2bed1bath each side on a small lot. OR for $275k I can get 4.3acres with a burned out mobile home. Guess which one we are going with- if I can swing financing.

Sigh... 4 acres without house doesn't qualify for FHA loan. The credit union wants 40% down and the ag loan bank says 10acres minimum.

:( Bummed and feeling like a homestead Godilocks.

🥳🥳 We have an accepted offer!🥳🥳
5.21 acres fully fenced with 4bed 3ba house. It also has ready to go barn and storage sheds along with 2 car garage. Here's hoping inspection doesn't find any major issues🤞🤞

It has nice terraced area on north side of house and level area on east for gardens. Completely overgrown with grass and so MANY old tires as planters.

That loafing shed brought back memories. I closed off one bay of one to make my chicken coop. Easy to do and a comfortable size. I see a lot of possibilities there. Good luck!

I'm not sure if loafing barn will stay there. That is the NW corner of lot and lowest, soggy elevation. From SW along that edge, it is garage, pool, barn, quonset hut for tractor, and loafing shed.Screenshot_20210507-105211_Maps~3.jpg
