i just caught one here last night after it was buzzing around most of the afternoon and i couldn't ever quite catch it. finally snagged it out of the air as it was going by yet another time. so at least i did not have to spend the night with it. that has happened before. not much fun. mosquitoes are not our state bird they are our state flying herd animal.
