Got a guy coming at 3 to look at sons house. If I can’t go work on my future house, I’ll work on sons house. Need vent a hood installed, there isn’t one. Need electric plugs in kitchen reset, backsplash put in. Need soffit on outside of house, rotten rafter ends replaced and room addition that was done all wrong torn down. Was going to wait until I got out of here, but that may be awhile. So might as well get the party started here!

@baymule I hope this isn’t your realtor hoping for a better offer. I’ve found realtors less than trustworthy. I’ll spare you the tales from KY or IN realtors.

Not to worry. Surveyors here are backed up, months out. Some are so busy, they won’t even talk to you. The realtor is not trying to sabotage this deal, she is doing all she can to keep the sellers from going bonkers. LOL They don’t have any experience at real estate and they think this is terrible. They know nothing about terrible. I do. Remember when we bought the farm in Lindale? Everything that could go wrong, did, and then some. Remember thrives breaking in, doing $10,000 in damages, stealing the HVAC units, breakers, copper wiring? Dealing with HUD was a miserable experience. They allowed us a measly $1,000 off the purchase price for damages. Those people must hate everyone, it was awful. THAT was terrible! THIS is merely annoying. THIS is a cakewalk. I got this!

Tamales for lunch.

They aren't a common part of our diet. DW had little experience and I would be hard-pressed to make them for us.

Still, tamales were something that we would bring home from the Mexican restaurant in the town of Rogue River when I was a kid. ( @Rhodie Ranch knows where that little community is ;).)

Wherever we might pick them up these days, tamales make me feel like a kid. So, I had ice cream for dessert.

it froze this morning. had the greenhouse heat on at 3:30, off at 8:30. it's now 1 pm and the greenhouse made it up to "room temperature" by noon but it is now beginning to rain.
