I got my car! It doesn’t have an arm rest between the front seats. Only thing I find wrong with it. For 40 MPG, I can forgive a lot!

i miss my car! :) looks great Bay! hope you enjoy driving it for many years. i really did like driving mine all those miles and years until i finally sold it. if i'd had a garage to keep it in and work on it i'd have kept it longer, but then it'd have not gotten mice in it too.

We got a pop up shower last night! Didn't last long, but it settled the dust. Of course the sun is up and is converting the rain to steam.

I have on my agenda today to put up the electric netting so the sheep can graze the yard. Really need to get dressed, and get outside and do that...... think I'll get another cup of coffee first.

Congrats! We have a prius and I love the 48 mpg :)
Couldn't find a Prius. Dealers are upcharging an "inventory" charge. Basically they are adding a few thousand to the price of the car because of availability. They added $2,000 to the price of my car, plus a bunch of add ons like Nitro Tires. WHAT? What the heck is that? They fill the tires with nitrogen and supposedly you don't have to check air or add air for a year. But then you have to go find nitrogen to put back in them. Uhhh......NO! I refused to pay for it. I told the sales man that I have my OWN air compressor because before I pull a trailer, I check air all around, truck and trailer and I'm not some stupid idiot that will run on low tires. $500 for nitrogen disappeared. I squabbled over the upcharge and got it reduced. Car shopping always has it's pitfalls, but these days it's ridiculous.

It's insane right now and likely yo get worse. My FIL bought a truck and they upcharged him almost 5k because "they can" per the sales man. He got the truck he always wanted so I'm happy for him.

Good Morning

Had my cream of wheat, canned peaches, and Oolong tea. Now, trying something new. Oh my Heavens, how radical! :)

Tea of passionfruit leaf and dried cranberries ... Just about cool enuf for a sip ... Can't taste the cranberries! Well, I gotta do better ;). Those leaves really need fruit flavor. Need a small handful ... Well, there goes any idea of using more of the bag for hot cereal.

;) Steve

Edit: Second Cup. Put about a dozen dried cranberries in the tea ball. What was I thinking?! Cranberries have too much of the same flavor as the passionfruit leaves ...

Oh My. Those Sweet Peas look fragrant!

Oatmeal with dried cranberries and canned pears along side the oolong tea this morning.

I could put this in what did you do in the garden thread bbuuttt ... for Father's Day, DD brought me weights one can either strap on ankles or wrists. I won't be walking with them on the ankles, that would not work but they fit on the wrists. The Indoor Mile may have just become a little less dramatic with all the arm waving needed to raise heart rate. What do you think @ninnymary ? My wrist and arthritic thumb objection to gripping something heavy is overcome by strapping the weight on ;).

However, I did some carrying out of the garden, yesterday. The heavy rocks that help hold the plastic down on the hoop house could be moved about 40 yards to their location to suppress weeds beside the backyard gate. Thirty minutes, one rock at a time, I didn't check heartbeats but felt about the same as indoors, walking the mile.

No need for indoor exercise today. Off to do some gardening after finishing some chores around here. Puppy-sitting Garbanzo the Dog this week so that might slow gardening down. Saw a hawk chasing an eagle the last time we were out. An eagle may not realize how vicious Garbanzo is and I wouldn't want her endangering the national symbol 🦅
