Do you can them Dry or in liquid?
I have done both. If I use liquid, I soak them first overnight then fill about 3/4 full and add a teaspoon of plain salt and fill to first ring of the jar. If you dry can, meaning in my case, I still pressure can, fill only 2/3rds full, salt, water, pressure can for 75 minutes for pints, 90 for quarts.
If you just want to store completely dry, use an oxygen absorber in the jar, take your vacuum sealer with jar sttachment and seal that way. You should put your beans in the feezer for 24-72 hours to kill any eggs or bugs in the bags, let the beans come to room temperature for about 3 days, then can. Dont forget to put a few bay leaves in also.

This is my first year growing Kidney Beans, What is the best way to store them?

i usually would store them when they've completely finished and dried down. leave them out to dry completely until winter sets in and then put them in an air tight container.

when they are still plump in the shells and there is some moisture still left in them they could be picked cooked and canned at that stage, but for me that would mean i've cooked and used them in some sort of pickled mixture because we do not pressure can anything here.

my normal use of any dried bean is to cook a pretty large batch so i can eat some for a while but also to be able to freeze portions for later use. either as a single variety batch or mixed with other beans.

note that kidney bean can be used as a pretty generic term for many New World beans, but it can also be used to talk about the specific few varieties of beans that are commonly called Dark Red Kidney or Light Red Kidney beans (and sometimes these are also called chili beans :) ). they both have a similar flavor, texture and smell to them which is not always present in other bean varieties. there may be other varieties of beans which are similar in flavor and texture and also have that same distinct aroma, but i've not found many. it's pretty unique and i really enjoy it - it's almost like a peppery smell like red peppers or something along those lines.
