Mmm back on track, its a brown sugar morning. Brown sugar in my coffee..who wrote that song? It's in the ham glaze too. I put the ham in at 730. Pineapple, Maple Syrup, Brown sugar, etc etc cloves, allspice and nutmeg.


Edit: The Guess Who. But it was no sugar tonight in my coffee, no sugar in my tea. I feel more optomistic than them I guess!

Didn't get morning coffee. He gave me TEA!!! I've got the freezer stocked with ice cream, a flask of cinnamon fireball on the coffee cart, and I got tea, sugar and orange peels. Gonna have to go make my own souped up coffee!! Brown sugar sounds good but I think I'm out. Guess Ice cream will do...

Breakfast today is coffee and leftover pan fried rock sole with panko crumbs! We caught a few yesterday and had them for dinner last night. They are so crispy and slightly spiced up. Yummy!!!

No breakfast yet. He had the reheated leftover pizza that gave him heartburn last night. I need to go get my coffee and get my stumps movin!

Coffee finally showed up. It's almost noon. Still chilly outside. Now I'll probably head outside and see what kind of trouble I can get into.

Oh, I don't know about brown sugar ... ice cream? Oh sure.

It's lunchtime here and I will be going for a "souped down" coffee following, and after I finish this ginger ale. Souped down will include 1/2 cup of store-bought chicory tea with 1/2 cup of one of @Zeedman 's coffee blends. That is a way to lower the caffeine while not hurting my feelings.

Morning coffee...was served while half asleep. He's already been outside a couple times, once to gather wood to take the chill off the room, once to run get milk and ice cream for the pending cuppa! It had orange peel slices in it this time for that bit of 'extra' flavor!! Yum...

Back to Starbuck espresso. Regular sugar and cream. I cannot make up my mind exactly but I am coming down on the side of kosher salt in espresso being more rounded in flavor. Ham and eggs for breakfast, fuel for a large yard day. We have those afternoons where you sweat the minute you step outside so dawn to noon becomes prime project time.
