The lights can be viewed on Amazon, they come in numerous sizes. I went with this size as the best overall fit in my 3 grow areas. They come in narrow/long versions as well.

Previously my “starts” were fueled with HO T-5’s and after a very short time fixtures need parts replaced and bulbs every year and when your running very many the yearly “maintenance” was getting out of hand.

The life expectancy on these is 50,000hrs and no annual maintenance! Kind of a no brainer. They will also run on 120, 220, 277volt without any modifications, truly plug and play.

Besides that the plants love them!

Our borough road’s supervisor told me “We have areas where the frost is still 12ft. Deep” so i changed my plan to chop a hole and pour cement around a pole to hold up a beehive. Instead i cut the pole off and welded some junk to it then poured a 5in thick base around the pole.
At that point i only needed to dig 6 inches or so which was still impossible until i piled up some brush and burned it. This morning digging was a breeze so now my little “subdivision” is ready for occupants, which arrive later in the week!
