No, what happens is you have more energy when you get to your project and at that point one of two things happens.

One is you bounce through the project and find it possible to start another.

Two your project gets magically bigger.

If you touch a wheelbarrow they cover you with the faery dust of weight loss, battery or no.

I ended up buying two self propelled push lawnmowers. Never thought I'd like them, but it makes the work SO much easier. But, to your point, you still have the work.
I now use my tow wagon to move things instead of lifting/carrying them. I get a Lot more work done that way, so I agree.
