@Blue-Jay did any of your more northern growers have success with the Pink Tip Greasy bean last year? I saw it listed on a site at a whopping 80 days DTM. Kind of had me scratching my head, because I don't think mine even flowered until late September.
There were only two growers of Pinktip Greasy in 2025. One was in Michigan. They live a little bit north of Kalamazoo. They returned seed that looked a lot like yours and a note that said too long for my climate. The other grower was in Iowa on about the same latitude as Cedar Rapids and they had success with the bean. They also returned a lot of very small seed along with normal sized seed. I got another Greasy bean given to me in Berea, Kentucky in November 2024 you might want to try. The bean is called John Wynn Greasy and it is a prolific bearer of small striped seed.

Russ's 2025 Big Bean Show Day 18

Corree De Sang - Pole Dry, This bean also struggled. I got a few quality seeds to try over. Maybe again a case of the weather or soil. It's a pretty looking bean. I don't know who I got this bean from.

Cosmic Girl - Bush Dry - Here's a bean that struggled a bit in 2025. Collected some good seed to carry it on to the next generation. I would love to see this bean stablize. I think it it quite visual and striking in appearance. I think Centerville Special and this one are related. It comes from some of the Robert Lobitz material I've been growing out.

I think I've decided that I will request some network beans from you this year. I sat on the fence about it, but I re-checked with my friend who helped me with sending 2025 network ones back to you and he says that it would be easier than slicing cheese to do now. So, I'm feeling a little more brave, lol. I will pull together a list and send it in email soon. Is John Wynn Greasy on the current network bean list?
