I didn't think Coca-Cola went back hundred years. In 1894 Coca-Cola was sold in bottles for the first time in Mississippi per "On this Day in history" dot com.
I thought maybe it came out in the 30s. It apparently was sold first in a candy shop.I didn't think Coca-Cola went back hundred years.
I thought it was the 70s because of this advert but then I remembered drinking it with ice cream in the sixties with my cousinI thought maybe it came out in the 30s. It apparently was sold first in a candy shop.
Coca cola was started in the 1800's and it used to contain cocaine..They took that out once they knew that it was more than just a "pick-me-up.
from Copilot: "Coca-Cola originally contained cocaine derived from coca leaves, but the drug was completely removed by 1929, with only cocaine-free coca leaf extract used today." That's probably why most believe it came out in the 30's.
Imagine the problems people could have been having. Not knowing why there would be such personality changes, or why they were so addicted to the drink
