What's cooking and what recipe do you have to share today

Okay, only "academic" on my part, but here is a recipe for Pickled Cherry Tomatoes. @R2elk should critique ;).

yesterday's breakfast just wasn't quite worth it, we had some rice krispies and marshmallows leftover from Mom making rice krispie treats and so i just put some plain marshmallows in a bowl and then the rice crispies and some milk. nope, just not right without them being melted together with some butter.

so today to get that memory out of my head i just warmed up the marshmallows and some butter in the microwave and then stirred in the rice krispies and ate as much of that as i wanted and packed the rest into a container so i will finish those off for tomorrow's breakfast, but to be sure i did wash them down with a glass of milk. breakfast. :) a completely non-nutritional breakfast, all sugars, fats and much fiber, but then again i did have a few oranges while i was peeling them right after so that was dessert. and probably much better for me. :)

DW was shopping yesterday. Maybe, she wanted to treat me for waiting for her when I had said first that I would go by myself. She bought me 4 donuts.

I like donuts. Buuutt, my intention is to eat only one each day. What I expect is that she will complain that I am allowing them to go stale by day 3. I suppose that I should put them in the freezer ...

i was so good the last time that Mom bought a bunch of cinnamon rolls and i said to her please don't buy them for me any more because i am trying to avoid all the extra calories i've been getting this last few months (gaining 5lbs on top of a few others). so she did wrap them and put them in the freezer and ate them.

however in a moment of weakness about six weeks ago i did take one out of the freezer and ate it. it wasn't right to me at all and i didn't do it again. donuts should not be frozen. i really only like cake donuts. the cinnamon rolls are good but not worth the calories to me. the ones she gets are loaded with frosting and some walnuts sprinkled on top. yes, they're also good but not what i really want in a donut. c'est la vie...

Today I fed my dogs some blueberry enhanced kibble with tumeric chicken and they seemed happy.

I love warm marshmallows. I haven't had those for a very long time
