    Mystery Houseplant

I looked up the orchid cacti, now I've gotta get me one of them. I did some searching and I think I found what this plant is, Dizygotheca elegantissima It was on the shelf with all the other Exotic Angel Plant brand plants so I looked through about 20 pages on their website and found this...

    Mystery Houseplant

Hi everyone, I just got reconnected to the internet. I have Christmas cactus so I am pretty sure it is not one of them. The leaves were paper thin and it has a mottled stem. Despite my efforts I don't think this plant will make it. I will take another photo of it tomorrow.

    Hi from Georgia

Hi @so lucky and @journey11 . Yup that is Ruellia. It took me forever to get some, only 2 places that I know of sell it here and it goes fast. I have 3 and they have not stopped blooming since I put them in the ground. And the bees love them. I am thinking of planting some near my fruit trees.

    Hi from Georgia

Thanks @Carol Dee and @Smart Red. I love Ruellia. Just found out about it, I like plants that root easily from cuttings. I'll post some more recent pictures later in a new thread. I work night shift and it about kills me to have to sleep during the day when I could be planting :P.

    Hi from Georgia

Hello everyone, I'm glad to be a part of the forum! I love plants and don't have many people to talk to about them. I use my mom's greenhouse to overwinter my plants that are not cold hardy, which is more than half of them! So it is full in the Winter and the rest of the year we use the...
