that is luck to find amaryllis all over your yard....i love me some of them.

well ijust bought this house last year so I had no clue there was even a passion fruit in my yard let alone 20 or more. I was unprepared for numerous vines. no trellis this year but def there will be one next year
now they are just sprawled all over the backyard. some are like 8 ft long vines...

I saw those but I was hoping to make raised beds with the reservoir in the bottom and was worried if the sticks and branches sitting in the water in the bottom would taint the water in the reservoir

I have sand for a yard nothing but sand all sand
so to have anything I have to till it with some soil only to have the rain wash all the goodies right back out unless I dig a whole and replace it all with soil then I would need to have a truck deliver...
that is one thing I failed to do is unscramble the roots

I guess I forget to mention there is a pipe coming from the water reservoir at the bottom to the top of the raised bed and you just fil the reservoir from the top so you have less water loss...
