I have confirmation....it IS May apple. My brother has been a grounds keeper for 20 years....and he happened to stop in for the weekend....we went mushroom hunting in my woods ( didn't find any) but he confirmed it IS May Apple. Thanks again!!
Im not leaning towards the winter aconite...because this stuff grows "wild" all around Indiana.
The May apple...maybe...but the stems on the May apple look to eb more of a woody stem, these are more of a soft juicy stem. I just dont know if its safe to put my goats where this stuff is growing.?
Thanks Hattie....I guess thats what it is. It has been very hot, and humid, and lots of rain...my poor grapes. Looks like no jelly for me this year. darn!

Mine have YET to bloom! Jeesh! They have a bad case of Flea Beetles....which I am treating with DE. Thats what the website reccomended. But...still no blooms.. :/

I went out today after a good hard rain, to check the garden. My potatos leaves are full of little holes, and there are these super tiny little black beetle looking bugs on them. Anyone know what they are? I sprinkled with DE..will this work on a beetle type bug? These beetles are super tiny.
Thanks Ridgrunner....once they dry out, I will pluck them off...and save them untill October, then plant them, and see what happens. Interesting...Hmmmm.
