That's so sweet. I'm not really a baker I prefer cooking but the oldest daughter is an amazing baker.My oldest daughter baked her first pumpkin pie with a home grown garden pumpkin from scratch when she was 8 years old. She insisted to do it all by herself. It turned out very well and she was beaming with pride!

I've just been getting rain and wind. The mountain areas North of us are fairly clear. Donner pass is almost always shut down or at least people are stuck putting on chains. I tell everyone that I might not have been born in California but I was raised here and we don't know nuttin about that white stuff and if it gets here I am all good with staying home. LOL
