I have heard that mint keeps fleas away. Has anyone heard this? I purchased 1250 seeds from Thomas & Morgan and have started 72 plants. Man those seeds are real small.

Its been some time since I've been on here(computer crashed and couldn't remember the name of the site) but I'm back!!! I planted marigolds and better boy tomato seeds. Its my first time with tomato seeds. We'll see how they grow.:D

I had the same problem with my peppers. Lime did the trick. I put about a cup at the base of the plant and the problem has gone away. Good luck:)

Shop vac works great. I did get a warning from my hubby....If he got any phone calls about what I was doing. He might have to commit me!!!! LOL Seriously, I haven't uses any insecticides on my garden. The safest way I have found is the shop vac.

I don't remember the variety(got stupid and threw the package away...lol). There were only 2 rows but the tallest was only about 4 ft tall and the smallest was about half that size. I planted the rows about 2 ft apart. I guess I should have planted more than 2 rows. I'll try it again. Any...

I am in Zone 7b. I planted sweet corn in mid April but it didn't get very tall. We got about 10 ears from about 20 stalks. It tasted great but there wasn't near enough of it. Is it too late to plant more?
