One of my pepper plants has really nasty blossom end rot. I'm wondering if some varieties are more prone?

Only one out of five has it and I'm not sure which variety it is. I must have been distracted when I planted them because I didn't keep track of what I planted where.

Anyway, are there any quick fixes? Otherwise I might just pull it up.

Try giving it a good healthy dose of pelletized lime or stir in some egg shells. They probably jsut need a little calcium.

I had the same problem with my peppers. Lime did the trick. I put about a cup at the base of the plant and the problem has gone away. Good luck:)
