What I did was take it straight from Google images. Right click over image - save image as - save to desktop or wherever. Then when you go to use it as your avatar just click on your saved image. Should work but might take some playing around to get it right. @marshallsmyth do you remember...

I think that the root of that would be the government trying to get rid of excessive industrial byproducts via the food system. What "food" that did have a little bit of food value may have lost it through weeks of sitting around.

We call those American Kestrels, I've never heard them called Sparrow Hawks before, interesting. The local nature center here had one that they were trying to nurse back to health, it had a broken wing. It's amazing seeing them up close.

Huh. If I had the room I'd be experimenting with crossing them with producing hazelnuts. They would make a great edible-ornamental if they did produce enough. Hazel nut is great for healing dry or damaged skin, I use it on my acne. It would probably take a lot more than one tree to extract...

I'd recommend the meal worms or crickets. If you do decide to go the hamburger route make sure that it's a very small piece. I've had several fly traps die that way - their digestive juices weren't strong enough to dissolve it in time and the hamburger lead to rot. The Monkey Cups (Nepenthes)...

After doing a quick search I found out that Harry Lauder's Walking Stick is a ornamental cultivar of Common Hazel. I wonder if they make edible nuts? :)
