How did your artichokes turn out? Mine came up fast and then stayed the same size the rest of the year. My unusual veggie would be fava beans. I also did not have very good luck with those. I planted them too late. I will try again in the spring.

I am trying to decide if I want to buy through a catalog and pay more or buy seeds locally from a hardware/feed store? The ones I can buy from the hardware/seed store in bulk cost about 1/4 of the price of seeds in the little packages.
