I was wondering if you absolutely have to let seeds dry before you plant them? My dad bought some really sweet cherry tomatoes at the store and right now I'm planting. I was wondering if I could plant a seed directly from the tomato or if they have to dry first?

I have Australorps, Jersey Giants, Cochins, Plymouth Rocks, Easter Eggers, Leghorns, Old English Game bantams, and D'Uccles. It's been about 39 here at night. It doesn't seem as cold tonight. During the day it's been around the 60's.

LOL! I'd do the same thing! Some plants that we have around here that my chickens don't like are roses, daisies, and honeysuckle. At least, my chickens don't like the daisies...
