I finished my recipe for dandelion root bitters yesterday after gathering and washing dandelion roots and chopping them up. Adding a bunch of fresh ginger root slices, and the zest from 2 oranges, I put all of these ingredients in a jar covered in vodka. Now I wait 28 days to see how it...
I love the pics you share! The colors are so beautiful! You truly are talented! I can see why your cafe is such a great success! What a lovely nook of the earth to stop in for a bite! 😍
So I am planning to make another old fashioned recipe of bitters. It has dandelion roots, orange peel slices, ginger root slices, and vodka. This pic shows the washing process!
I am so amazed at how many varieties of beans there are! Before I joined this forum I thought the only beans that existed were pinto, lentil, blk bean, kidney beans, great northern beans, and garbanzo!!!! 😂
Are these beans all ancient or are people breeding them and making new hybrids?
I'm not sure, but check this one out! I found this on a Google search a while back after my plant app identified this plant with only one bloom. Since I only saw the scientific name I quickly forgot it! This was supposedly the same plant.
Wow, you are a very talented baker and artist! Your creations are so pretty I want to frame them! Maybe if I visited your cafe I would buy one treat for myself to eat and one to frame! 😍
It rained almost all day here but was mild. We were able to squeeze in a walk earlier with a clearish patch of sky. It is a mild temp which is always welcome and no wind!
