This flower almost never blooms but when it does bloom the red color is to die for! 😍

some type of Christmas Cactus?
I'm not sure, but check this one out! I found this on a Google search a while back after my plant app identified this plant with only one bloom. Since I only saw the scientific name I quickly forgot it! This was supposedly the same plant.

Looks like Google might be right.

A quick check on this "tribe" shows one species known as "Creeping Cactus."

A tropical so impractical in most N American homes but it would be interesting to see how it might do growing horizontally on the ground.
