It does look like an Azalea or Rhodedendron of some type. There are a lot of varieties of these types. I can't tell if there are buds in the centers of the leaf clusters. Maybe a cotoneaster?

Ok, everyone has one or two plants that just defy them. No matter how hard you try they just don't do what you want. Mine are BEETS I get beautiful tops but no big root. Every other root crop, no problem.

I wish I did have it. I would be more than happy to help if I did. :rolleyes:
