I planted about 50 in Jiffy starters and only had 4 come up (2 died)
then I planed some directly in the soil awhile ago and still NONE have come up...
Are they hard to start from seed or what?!
I had some double knock outs that sat in a pot all winter and a few of them looked rather dead..
I pulled them out of the pot and looked at the roots and there were some white fuzzier ones in there so I just decided to go ahead and plant them.
Also I have the mexican petunias that still...
I mulched my Angel Trumpet with pine chips. The trees were from seasoned wood and have been chipped and sitting in my yard for a little over a year (I only use them here and there...)
Will these give the plants any acidic addatives?

I have 3 rabbits, 2 goats, and 9 chickens. They poop. :lol:
Now i know chicken poop its very hot and should be composted...
Can I just go "rake out" the rabbit and goat pellets and throw them under the mulch around the plants?
What about making compost tea for the goat and rabbits poops...

If I were to mix the Canterbury (the early bloomer) with Zinnias (midsummer on bloomers) how would I do that?
Could I plant one row of canterbury one row of Zinnias or do I put Zinnias on the left and Canterbury on the right or do I do all Canterbury in the back and all Zinnias in front...

I put 47 Mammoth sunflowers that were about 4-5 inches tall in the ground yesterday. I also put a milky way morning glory and moonflower by my porch. :D
