So I am planning to make another old fashioned recipe of bitters. It has dandelion roots, orange peel slices, ginger root slices, and vodka. This pic shows the washing process!

I am so amazed at how many varieties of beans there are! Before I joined this forum I thought the only beans that existed were pinto, lentil, blk bean, kidney beans, great northern beans, and garbanzo!!!! 😂 Are these beans all ancient or are people breeding them and making new hybrids?

Believe it or not the amaryllis is in a solid wax vase! I was told that I don't even need to water it, but did a little so far.

I'm not sure, but check this one out! I found this on a Google search a while back after my plant app identified this plant with only one bloom. Since I only saw the scientific name I quickly forgot it! This was supposedly the same plant.

This flower almost never blooms but when it does bloom the red color is to die for! 😍

Here they are! The cactus is especially interesting to me because I have had it for 12 years and this is the first time I've ever seen it bloom!

It rained almost all day here but was mild. We were able to squeeze in a walk earlier with a clearish patch of sky. It is a mild temp which is always welcome and no wind!

I love all of that garlic talk! I love garlic so much! Whenever a recipe calls for one or two cloves I put in an entire bulb!!! Pro-tip: if you don't want your significant other to hate your breath, make sure they eat it along with you and then no one notices! 😁
