Gross bug poo...Gotta net them next time. And junebugs have found the strawberries, which still refuse to put out berries! 🤬 Ad to net them to stop damage.

Sunflowers sunning If it won't be until next year, since they were just seeded, should I bother with trimming? Was telling DH about this stray corn. I was amazed the cows hadn't eaten it yet. Jinxed myself. They ate it over night. Fenced it off now, though.

Oh, the cauliflowers are still growing. I went nuts with the slug pellets, nature cooperated(no endless rain), and now they're growing a few new leaves. They have shade up full time, too. Heads are growing on them. Been carefully covering heads with broken off old leaves, as there's not enough...

The...w/e the other plants was, is coming back. This thing is worth over wintering.
