Thank you very much! I'm totally going to make this next time I get groceries!!
My daughter makes a similar pesto at Christmas and we always smother our Salmon En Croute with that pesto! It is wonderful! She makes it in advance so all of the flavors can do their magic!
I haven't really made any sauces with these wild greens, but I do love the dandelion greens in a salad, the miner's lettuce on tacos and burgers, and the sheep sorrel on tacos. The stinging nettle has been great in tea, in ramen soup, and in shrimp/fettuccine stir fries with butter!
We are going to have turkey, Grandma's homemade stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, dinner rolls, yam bake, green bean supreme casserole, cranberry sauce, homemade cheese ball with crackers, homemade salal mead, champagne, and pumpkin pie!
What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? This question is for everyone. Mine is the homemade cheese ball with crackers! We always snack on that while the bird slowly cooks!
Welcome to the forum from the Pacific Northwest! I have never tried that with strawberries. I have only grown them in ceramic planters and I purchased little starter plants.
Nice! I used to make homemade wine for about that long. I made Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Pinot noir. It was fun, but very time consuming!!
