haha, but no, just no. i already hate changing the clock twice a year as it is. i'd rather go back to no time change at all. people who want to adjust their own personal time clocks can do so as they will.
this is a Mom story from Friday when she went off to do her care taking gig, but first on the way she stopped in at funeral home to drop off a card and to sign the guest register because she couldn't be there for the visitation later.

we now have a day next week in the forecast to go above 60F. crazy talk but then again we've had flowers on strawberry plants on March 11th before so it surely could happen.
i managed to get a walk in for a bit this afternoon in the sunshine, a bit windy but it wasn't cold enough that it bothered me. felt good to get some exercise and fresh air.
primarily i grow what we will eat. i've given up on trying various other things because Mom will not eat them and so i only grow just a few things (turnips, radishes, dill) here or there for myself but not much and sometimes i don't even eat any of those.
on the other leg, i do enjoy my bean...
it is a waste to not compost things, especially if you figure out how much you spent on them to begin with. digging a trench and burying is a good way to do things and i'll be doing some of that this year as i did have to do it also last summer after getting rid of my worm buckets. i now have...
as you get older you discover how heavy those rocks get... we have many tons of them here.
people don't like to consider the longer term and more realistic facts of such beautiful things, but really when you do something like that, take the pictures because it won't look like that forever and...
if it is a wild area i would look up native riverside bulb spring flowering plants, if it isn't it could be anything that someone planted... can't really tell from the picture with my eyes, would need a closer up picture. :)
