I am looking for suggestions of what to plant in a rather large pot on my porch. I want it to be short, hardy, and bushy and if it includes blooms eventually all the better! (The pot is a mini wine barrel)

This year the new veggies I plan to try are: chioggia, indigo rose tomatoes.and radicchio. Should be fun!

Pretty nice for February!

It is supposed to snow this weekend. We usually get a couple big storms each winter. This year we have had zero snow. We shall see if the snow pans out!

My daughter's cats wake her up at 5 a.m. every morning. If she plays dead, they grab her hair with their teeth and pull it!!

Asparagus can grow up to 10 inches in just 24 hours if the weather is warm! Bull kelp is also a fast-growing seaweed that can grow up to 2 feet per day!

I love Honey bunches of oats with strawberries! I found another really yummy combo that is more of a snack - Raisin Rosemary crisps from Trader Joe's + cream cheese + ripe strawberries!!
