I plan on starting them indoors in peat pods. I think the last frost around here late march eary april. So when should I start the seeds?

You know those plastic runners that go about 4+ inches in the ground that are made to keep weeds out of flower beds? I was REALLY wanting to plant mint along my driveway and have large planters sit in the beds. Do you think the "runners" will keep mint in?

Camera broke the other day.. All the leaves withered and dried. I pulled them all off and brought the tree inside (it is already in a pot). I saw new growth that wasnt rotting so that is a good sign, right?

I have another question.. When should I bring it inside? My temps are dropping down into the 50s during the night now. Plus from the flooding ALL the branches are brown. Even the new growth.. and... Should I go ahead and prune it for next year? It has kind of gotten an odd shape to it now.

I wouldnt worry much with it right now but I am about to pressure wash and stain my front porch before it gets too cold. I was wondering if I cut it down to about one and a half to two feet tall it would be ok. Same with my Canna
