When do I pick them? Like the Celantro, when do I know when to pick it? I am seeing leaves are those what I pick now, as it grows? The plants are about 8-12 inches tall at this point. I understand the dill. What about the sage and rosemary?

Some of my trees have branches growing at the base of the tree. Why is it doing this and how do I stop it?

I just dry ours out on a cookie sheet until they are completely dehydrated and then put in a canning jar. I chop as needed.

I have been using chicken waste for the last few years around my trees and in my garden and it works soooo well. The grass around my trees is always a lot greener and grows faster. The veggie plants always are darker green and grow wonderfully. The chickens in return always get fresh veggies...

We finally got in our garden. It has been really wet here. We got in potato, radishes, onions, spinach, lettuce. Not long after that we got rain again!

Thank you! We planted potatoes, radishes, onions, spinage, lettuce and I think that is is, today. Right after we got done, 60 mile an hour winds and rain hit...may have lost some of my seed we planted :/ That's what it is like in Missouri!!!

Has anyone ever combine their veggies to help with space or to help another plant naturally protect another plant from bugs? I have a friend that plants radishes with her zucchini to keep squash bugs away. She also puts her cucumbers with her corn to save room. Anyone else do these things and...
