What a beautiful garden! It looks so lush. What zone are you?

Thanks backyard buddies. The blueberries were awesome. We ate the first basket in our cereal every morning and the second I froze to make something later. I even like to eat them frozen, like a snack. When are the apples and raspberries ready? We'd love to do another fruit picking trip...

My son and I had a great time at Underwood Family Farm in Somis. We went to pick blueberries, there are a couple of weeks left, out in their fields. It was a beautiful day and I'd recommend it to anyone. There's a great market with fresh fruit and veggies and canned/pickled goods.

Oh, man. That's my favorite kind of jam. My mom would win awards at the fair for hers. I really do need to get over my fear of canning alone. Thanks so much for posting your pics. Very inspiring.

I planted some last week and used it to make tomato sauce today.( I have tomatoes coming out of my ears) It came out wonderfully. Great smell and taste. It is growing very quickly and seems to like the weather here. I planted it next to two tomatillo plants and hope to make a green salsa...

Wow!! The Black Krim is so meaty. What a great tomato. I will definitely be planting these again next year. The Big Beef was great but boy, the Black Krim wins so far.

Do you think it could be a burrowing animal? Possibly damaged the roots?

I bought my seeds from Seeds of Change because I really wanted only organic and nothing genetically modified. Maybe it's something in our terribly polluted air?

After having read a few threads about rhubarb plants I decided to try to find them in my area. No luck what-so-ever. Does anyone have any ideas where I could find plants?

I noticed that three of my corn plants had kernels growing on the bottom of the tassle. I've never seen this before and was wondering if it is common and what may have caused this to happen. My only guess is the ants crawling up and down the plant. I tried one of the kernels and it tasted...
