how you identify male and female flowers!
i am also having major flower production but not alot of fruit setting. vines are happy and i have plenty of bees. i too have been picking cuc beetles daily for months with tweezers so I am in an out of the flowers too.

interesting i know they use bananas to ripen tomatoes in shipping containers. so it could work on the vine i guess. keep us posted. i have the same problem and will join you in banana peel hanging if it seems to work. thanks!

i am not sure how to harvest etc. i have been wondering what to do with thee myself. can i grow from thi seed or should i just stick to eye starts?

when should i harvest my potato seed pods? the flowers are almost all dead now should i take them now, or wait till i harvest potatoes when plants are dead?

it seems that my brussel sprouts are being eaten by small green caterpillars
are these coming from the small black eggs i am finding in the leaf crotches
i also found some green soft eggs in one of my cabbages
any help identifying any of these and organic methods of treatment would be greatly...
i seem to be geting the beginings of a cuc beetle infestation is there anything other than picking off by hand morning and night
