I have recently read about cardoon and I would like to know if anyone has grown it. Is it hard to grow? Can it be grown in zone 5? And what I really want to know is do the stems taste like artichokes?

I planted glads last spring and now I am digging up the bulbs. Do I need to store them in the dark? Can I just store them in a bucket? Is it okay to store them downstairs if it might be a little damp? Do I need to trim the tops off? Will mice eat the bulbs? Thanks, Herbgardener

I read in a book that if you do not plant your mint your different kinds of mint on different sides of your house the flavor will not be as strong or good. I planted my mint like 10 feet apart. Is this true? Do I need to trans plant them?

Has anyone ever grown goose berries? We have some in our woods and I got some cuttings but I would like some more info. Do you take cuttings before or after they have flowered and had berries? Do you root cuttings in water or in soil?
