Thanks guys for your help! I might give it too much TLC...water every week. Maybe I need to do it every couple of weeks. Maybe I'll try to propagate the darn thing!
I have this big snake plant (mother-in-law tongue) The leaves are suppose to be stiff and stand straight up. Well, mine are droopy. Can anyone tell me why and what I need to do to help it stand proud again?? :weight
With chickens, at least you have company while weeding. You have someone to talk to, so it's not lonely. They eat the bugs as you dig them up. And.... you have great entertainment watching them fight for the bugs and frogs, etc.! Chickens do make weeding more fun and interesting. It looks...
Go to your nursery and see what they have for shaded areas. Hostas do well.... astillbe, bleeding heart, to name a few. Hosta can be your border plant. Maybe an ornamental grass for height. There are so many plants....I love going just to look at all the beautiful plants. Is there a...
I tried the tomato cages and they just crumble under the weight once the tomatoes start getting big. I ordered tomato ladders from gardeners.com But, I like using two for each plant instead of just one. They really do hold up well. I just planted 8 tomato plants.

Hi....I'm from BYC also!! This is gonna be fun.... once it gets warm enough to plant. Right now we've got more than a foot of snow on the ground. Don't think I'll be planting any time soon. I want spring!!! :dance
I make sure the chickens are around and knock them off to the ground. Chickens love them!! Or.. I collect them in a coffee can and feed it to them later. If you don't have chickens, knock them off in a coffee can filled part way with soapy water and let them drown.
