    Greenhouses and/or Indoor Growing Discussion

I've been toying with the idea of getting a little greenhouse, mostly to start seeds in the spring in. Has anyone bought one of these kits ? It seems ok to me, other then I've asked the seller a question about it , that never got answered.... And that pic..seems like that woman standing in it...

    My garden this past summer

Very nice! Your Hydrangea is absolutely beautiful ! That purple vine thing in the 3rd pic (Can't remember the name right now)...a very grateful little vine, I finally found some of it again for sale at a greenhouse, so now I break off pieces of it and stuff them in every pot I have , so I'll...

    Curly willow tree....

Shallots, I'm no authority on willows, but if it was mine and I wasn't very happy with it, I'd trim it down to a size that would work. Two foot sounds like a reasonable tight . Also, can't help but wonder, if there is a way to put that pot in something that would hold water for a while longer...

    Brugmansia anyone?

"Beautiful flowers. The moonflowers I'm familiar with. Has a seed sort of like a morning glory. Have to knick it before planting?" You're thinking of the moonflower vine (Ipomoea alba) Yes, it is a relative to the Morning glory. (Big ,chunky seeds that you should knick and soak before...

Thanks you guys... I'm talking about the tall,Greek goddess chick holding the fruit. It was a "gift" ...enough said :barnie She used to be white (I guess to look like marble?) But I couldn't stand that "stark" beauty so I painted her grey. I like the fat cement Cherub . That poor...

    Curly willow tree....

The Corkscrew willow is different then the Contorted Hazelnut (Harry Lauder's Walking stick, that is almost always grafted ). Corkscrew Willows are usually easy to start from cutting . That's how I started mine. It always has dead branches that I have to cut out, just seems the way it is...But I...

I took the pix of the Brugs at night because it's the only time of day I can wonder around and do that sort of thing lol :gig Not to mention, the pots are by the front door, so when I relax in the evening, the fragrance is all around me...love it! The flowers hang down on the Brugs (angel's...

    Brugmansia anyone?

Does anyone else grow these plants? I've had the variegated one for about 5 years and the yellow/orange one for 2 years. Living in Indiana without a greenhouse to keep them in through the winter isn't easy. But the fragrant, drop-dead-gorgeous flowers all summer are worth the hassle. Anyone...

    A few pix

Aww, thanks for the compliments. It wasn't easy getting those pics without some sort of animal in them. Usually the Muscovy ducks, calls, geese or dogs are wondering about. Now there's even a free-range Llama roaming around (surprisingly he doesn't bother anything) That's why I have to put...
