I can imagine that gas gauge, too!

Filled up yesterday, over $50. In 2007, it would have been over $100! The difference in $2.05 gas now and $4.00 gas then.

NyBoy, I hope it works out well for you.

Ever since we moved to our place in the country in 1999 I have kept my 1993 Dodge Cummins 3/4 ton, club cab (full bed) truck garaged. I have only 118,000 miles on it and I'm looking to trade it in. I have tried SO HARD to keep it our of the weather so it looks good. I'm planning on trading it in this year after I get my Teachers Retirement money out of the State of Illinois and buy a car. (We have a 2007 Full Ton Dodge Cummins, Crew Cab, 4 x 4 Doolie to pull the horse trailer, so I Don't need two trucks.)
I, TOO, was planning on spending about $10K on this truck, taking out the bench seat and installing two bucket seats, changing out the transmission, repainting, etc.
I just HATE to scratch it!
Just talked to my local electric monopoly about tree trimming by power lines today and THEY will drop a free load of wood chips for me. I plan to use that on my DD's backyard shade garden for mulch.

@Nyboy
What year is your F-150 about a 2000 with the 4.6 Triton in it?

I have a "05" F-150 4x4 with the 4.6 Triton in it and I love it, real work horse.
