we have not had rain here for about a month. it's starting to get a little crispy around here.
been watering almost every day....

We have had little rain since May. My well kept things fine but it can just water my animals at this point.

We got a little rain this weekend, much needed, I might add. I don't water the garden but these wood chips keep everything well nourished with moisture. It's like a holding tank for moisture.

Pumpkins turning a deeper red, vines dying back to show butternut squash needing harvested, etc. The year is winding down.

Saw this old photo and got hungry and inspired. Meatloaf for dinner tonight.

@catjac1975 I've never ever tried meatloaf! It's now 5 pm here and I was already feeling hungry, now I'm craving for it!

We are eating poffertjes (Dutch Mini Pancakes) tonight

Mmmm...meatloaf is GOOD! If it is made right. It is mainly just kind of like sausage....not sure what an equivalent in Europe might be.
