That's exactly what I thought @Blue-Jay, your Chickasaw is the most similar bean I could think of to this one. She called it 'Salome's Treasure'. It's almost reminds me of a rainbow. Researching it I I wonder if the name is a Biblical reference.
The name is Mombacher Speck. And yes 25cm Max is the quoted length. That fits much better with your 8 inch version.
It's not my bean photo, I took a screen shot from the account of a lady who I follow on instagram. I didn't post the direct link to it, because if people don't have instagram accounts they can't access it. I actually have no idea where she got the bean from, all I know is she had the name 'Salome's Treasure' in the caption and that was all. Do you want me to PM you a link?
The pods from what I recall seemed quite uniform. I think I need to regrow it again, because I don't think any of them got to 10 inches. Strangely, the seed packet photos of Mombacher Speck don't seem to have 10 inch pods on the front, but rather much smaller pods. Have you grown it or have a photo of the pods? I've grown Quedlinburger Speck and thought they would be similar. The Quedlinburger looked very much like the packet shows.
I believe Mombacher Speck has slightly wider pods. But there are similarities. I have grown both at some time a while ago but not kept good records. Both are relatively common in Germany.

Yes, great tip, I don't know why I didn't think of that. It's interesting, that bean doesn't look 10 inches either, but it does seem wide like you mentioned. Now I really am bewildered!
